Reading Time

After folding a load of laundry the other day, I came down the hallway to find this. Connor reading to Cody. How sweet! These moments don't happen very often, so I thought I'd better take some pictures. Can you believe how dark their hair has gotten since last summer? Crazy what the sun can do!

Snow!

I know we've had snow for a while, but this is the first time Cody has actually been able to go out and play in it. Before he started walking about a month ago, he would crawl out the door and into the snow and get so frustrated because his hands would get frozen. For whatever reason he didn't want me to put gloves on him to solve the problem, so going outside was always a sad ordeal until now. He still falls down a lot and gets upset sometimes, but at least it's an improvement from before!

My First Half Marathon

I've been running with some friends I met on a local running blog for the last three or four months. We decided to take a girl's weekend and head down to St. George for the Painter's Half Marathon. These women are AMAZING runners and they run about 50-60 miles per week. I'm lucky to get in 20 miles/week! They were nice enough to let me tag along and try this distance for the first time. It was SO much fun! I learned SO much from them and definitely want to do it again.

Regrettably, I didn't get any pictures of us actually racing, but I got a great shot of us at an after party. Thanks again girls!

I am officially the worst blogger on the planet! I started working part time and that has taken the majority of my free time away, so if there is anyone out there that still reads our blog, I apologize.

I plan on giving a full update on how our family is doing over the weekend with pictures and all...so stay tuned!
