We're not sure what was so funny to Connor, but we thought we'd share this cute video clip with you.

Where Did He Go?
The other morning I set Connor down on the floor in the living room and went to start the laundry. I was maybe gone for 2-3 minutes and thought that since I had set him down with all of his toys, I'd come back and find him where I left him. I'm sure all of you moms out there that have mobile children are laughing, but I'm new at the whole crawling thing. So, when I came back into the living room he was no where to be found. I looked in all of the nearby rooms, and I couldn't find him anywhere. Finally after searching for 5 minutes, I heard a noise back in bathroom to our bedroom. I walked in to find this...

Connor found a box of tampons... Needless to say, I made sure our home was baby proofed a bit better after this experience. Rookie mistake!

Stroller Rides
Nevada is great this time of year! The lows are in the 40's and the highs, sometimes in the 70's. Connor and I take full advantage of the sunshine, by taking a walk everyday. It's great; I get a bit of exercise and Connor gets to munch on Cheerios while watching the cars go by. I figure we'd better enjoy the weather while we can; I'm sure the summer temperatures will be brutal!

Our Move to Nevada
We were informed by Jake's company over the holidays that we'll be moving to Mesquite, Nevada at the first of the year (for those of you who are counting, yes, that's 3 moves in the last year and a half). We're actually pretty excited to be moving back to the west; however we are sad to be leaving behind some great friends in Ohio and unfortunately, we won't be as close to my side of the family anymore.

Happy Anniversary!
.jpg)

Wow! Two years Jake, can you believe it? I just wanted to let you know how much you mean to me. All of the joy I experience in my life, I attribute to you. Thank you for being the steady rock in our family and for always putting a smile on my face. You are such an amazing husband and father; I couldn't imagine going through this life with anyone else by my side. Who would have thought that shy kid I sat next to in business class 3 years ago would have made a girl like me so happy?

Early Christmas w/the Blackham's
Last week we were able to make an unexpected trip to Utah to attend Uncle LaMont's funeral. It was nice to see everyone for the holidays. Here a just a few pictures from our trip.

Tribute to Uncle LaMont
Regretfully, Jake's uncle, John LaMont Blackham passed away quietly in his sleep, Nov. 29, 2007, in Moroni, Utah. He was born in Moroni, July 8, 1940, to Ernest LaMont Blackham and Olive Olsen. LaMont married the love of his life, Linda Allen, in the Manti LDS Temple, Dec. 19, 1963. They enjoyed almost 44 years together before LaMont sadly passed away. We will miss truly miss his love an influence.

Thanksgiving in Virginia
By now, Connor has become quite the traveler. He's only 7 months old and he's already been on 12 plane rides! This year, we spent Thanksgiving at Grandma and Grandpa Rosvall's house in Richmond, Virginia. We spent a day at the Richmond Metro Zoo; Connor really liked the giraffes.

Another Trip to Utah
Since we were already planning on spending the holidays with the my parents, Jake thought it would be fitting to spend the other most important holiday of the year (the opening day of the hunt) with his side of the family in Utah. Of course we dressed Connor in camouflage for the occasion

We also got to carve pumpkins for Halloween! I think Connor thought the pumpkins would talk back. He carried on a conversation with them for quite some time.
